My Dean is scared I won't get financial aid for Yale
Posted in another sub!
Heyyyy! My Dean thinks I can get into Yale, but doesn't think I'll get enough financial aid to make it happen.
So, I'm looking to find specific options for universities to attend. Once I have my Bachelor's Degree, I'm going to attend the University of Salford for their Master's program in Coercive Control studies.
In the meantime, I am currently finishing my Associates in Psychology (science). My absolute dream has been to go to an Ivy League college or at least a novel school. I know that if I don't get into an Ivy League, I'll be perfectly fine, and that employers don't need me to go to a fancy school. That's not the point. I want to be educated by the best of the best, so that I'm pushed to be the best I can be.
My grades are good. They're not 4.0. But they're good. I have a lot on my resume, as I'm a non-traditional student who's had a really exciting life up to this point, and I've done some pretty cool things. So I think I can get into a really good college. Hopefully that doesn't sound braggy, I'm not a perfect person nor am I a perfect student. Either way, I just really want a good quality and well established university.
The question is... Where?
I'm tired of this Community College. I love it, but at the same time, the level of academic integrity is very low among most the professors. I want professors who care about hard work and are honest in scrutiny instead of just wasting time and moving the target. I want hard work. I want a good college.
So where can I go? I'm willing to move a lot of places, but I love New England. But again, I'm willing to go anywhere. I want to go see things and experience college well.
Thank you for any suggestions. If I was unclear about anything, please let me know.
