Is it time for NZ to stand up again in opposition to nuclear testing?

For the first time in decades, a country is threatening to resume nuclear testing, and once again it might be in our Pacific backyard. Standing up to French nuclear testing put us at odds with a major global power and brought terrorism to our shores, yet most Kiwis I know think we took a principled stand in the middle of the Cold War.

As the world once again flirts with normalising nuclear sabre-rattling, should we once again stand up and call out a far more powerful nation?
