Berry farming not working help pls

I tried one of tuts from years ago with the large planters, manually placing bushes in builder mode and using sprinklers? But my berry bushes don’t regrow berries after I harvest the one time. I waited a long time and they didn’t come back. I even tried deleting it all and redoing it and it’s still not working? Do you have to manually plant them for them to regrow berries now or what?? I’m so confused.
