Minoxidil in UK for chronic TE

I suffered from TE for a year due to low zinc and iron. It started recovering in the last 6 months but without the supplements my levels have dropped again and I’m experiencing the beginning of another episode.

Honestly cannot stand going through this again as it made me so insecure the first time. Even after correcting my levels it took a good 6 months of continuous shedding before it slowed (it never seemed to fully recover) should I be proactive this time and go on minoxidil for telogen effluvium while I correct my iron/zinc levels?

I would love to use topical but I have dogs who sleep with me every night and I don’t want to put them at risk. Anyone have experience with pills/topical?
