Cunning and smart mc

Hello, i wanted a book (long book or a series) where the main characters are cunning, trying to survive the world with their wit, and using their brain at full capacity, i’m really tired of dumb MCs ,i want people like Laurent from Captive Prince, who are doing everything they can to win or survive, they don’t have to be innocent characters, they should do everything in their power to obtain what they want (even k*ll, love assassins) i don’t care about how far they take it, they just have to be smart and competent. For example if it’s a mafia boss i want him to be actually smart, have plans, be a good leader, don’t let love and sex dictate his brain, because some of them when the romance is introduced start to become dumb and being sloppy, don’t want that, i want respected and even feared MCs but because they are actually good at what they do. Don’t rec books where the author through the story tell us how smart a character is but we don’t actually see in the books, i want showing not just telling.
