Samsung really broke secure folder with one UI 8 and won't admit it

First was the issue that for some people some apps could no longer access the secure folder files instead sometimes accessing the non secure folder files. The posts about this on the Samsung forums were ignored, simply saying nothing was wrong and ignoring the issue. Even default apps are broken. You can't set default apps in the secure folder for things like file manager. In the secure folder section of default apps settings there's only browser. I uninstalled one of my file managers and now an app that was using it can no longer open any files. Not sure what is happening at Samsung but this is an absolute joke.
