Is it worth doing legendary bounties for 30 mins?

I keep getting mixed answers whenever i ask someone i get told 12 minutes is the better option and do another bounty for 12 minutes. I been doing it for 30 minutes ( for etta doyle ) and i do get bored sometimes from it, will it be a huge difference in payout if i only do it for 12 minutes?
