My dogs been losing balance, seems confused

Hello, I'm in need of some advice/insight with my dog. We've been to the vet with this issue and he's treating it as an ear infection. On Tuesday October 28 I've noticed my 13-14 year old boxer stumbling having a hard time keeping her balance the thing is she was perfectly fine that morning till about 10am. So back to the vet, when we saw the vet and told him our concerns the first thing he said was she could've had a stroke, so he examined her, looked at eyes, ears, legs, and told us one ear was cloudy and the other looked blocked with a "wax plug" so he gave us antibiotics, ear wash, pain meds, and ear drops. He also done labs, He said the labs looked good. So I'm home watching my dog and she still fumbles, but I'm now noticing she's putting herself in a corner or trying to fit under something and she's restless always roaming around not wanting to lay down. She does sleep well when it's time to go to bed. My wife and I are trying our best to not think of the worst case scenario, and just treating it like an ear infection like the vet said. If anyone and experienced this or has experience with this let me know .. thank you all and sorry with this wall of text. Just been stressed with this
