Has anyone here been able to invest for retirement successfully by 30?

đź’°Finances

Hey so, I started a 401k when I was 23 shortly before leaving the company I started it with (Goodwill), because I got a new job that was more focused on my career goal. The rest of the companies I worked for since working at Goodwill did not offer retirement plans, and I found out my mom, who is in charge of my finances because she and my dad are my guardians, had not been putting any of the money from my last few jobs, including the one I was at for over 3 years when she could have easily transferred a portion of each paycheck to an IRA.

She said I have a trust, which I am not too thrilled about.

Just wondering how many of you were able to save your first years salary for retirement by 30.
