Is this a coincidence or a subtle hoovering attempt by my narcissistic ex?

I’m honestly starting to wonder if all of this is just coincidence… or something else.

My ex (who I strongly believe is a covert narcissist) had me blocked on LinkedIn, Facebook, and even on my phone for over a year. A few weeks ago, she suddenly created a new LinkedIn profile — and this time, she didn’t block me. When I noticed it, I blocked her.

A few weeks later, I realized she had unblocked me on Facebook. Again, I blocked her as soon as I saw it.

Around that same time, she was running for union elections. There are 15 floors in my office building, and she works in another building across the city — yet one of the very few posters with her face somehow ended up on my floor. After the election, I took it down and put up some charity posters related to my team’s work. A few days later, those were taken down by someone — no idea who.

Then last week, one of her colleagues checked my LinkedIn profile. And tonight, her daughter viewed my Facebook story (she’s not on my friends list, and she probably doesn’t even know I can see that).

That’s… a lot of coincidences for one month.

Could this be a subtle form of hoovering — checking if I’ll react, or reminding me she still exists — or am I reading too much into it? Has anyone else experienced something similar?
