In your quest for the truth do you want your suspicions confirmed or discover something you could not even initially comprehend?
In all topics fringe we find an interesting kink in which people generate a pet perspect then go hell for leather trying to "prove" it. I've been tinfoiling since before the internets and it always struck me as a bit stupid because we, for jest and flex, would attempt to tear the next perspect to shreds. Remember, it was before the web ergo we had lots of time to fill.
That trend sticks to this day as I'll always attempt to research the opposite and disprove my own concept. What remains is a refined elixir worthy of considering. This is the total opposite of the echo chamber effect and seeing how people on here are more intelligent and less emotionally invested than other subsections as evidenced by the responses to a previous thread:
So, have you ever been certain you were thinking it was X, Y, Z and then it was revealed to be 8, 4, 1 instead ie a totally different context and content that flipped your perspective? Obviously, this takes some time to comprehend and a lot of people, on spec, reject as they feel their entire self concept under threat. This is why intellectual flexibility is a must but, oddly, many engage in mental gymnastics instead to make something blatantly untenable fit. Human emotions, so weird!
Lets say you hit on something big. Something so immense, unexpected and world changing. What would you do next? Yell it from the top of the hills? To whom? People who would think you're idiot for contradicting the narrative? Did you get into it to share or Know? That is the question. But also the problem as its easy to collect loose threads and weave them into a wild narrative. Schizos do it all the time. Except no one seems to click they're the only people on the planet that don't fall for optical illusions and that loops in, super well, with my quest to prove we're in a simulation as it feels, currently, like I'm mainlining the secret truths of the universe, occulted.
Its so Self evident when it clicks but the thing about the Game is its designed to protect itself as there is an imposter in your head that simply pretends to be thee but lets skip that for a bit and see what you think. If that is you, ah ha ha ha!
