The Gita says that God is the doer of everything and everything happens according to His plan. If everything is God’s plan, why should we fight against the wrong?
I got a beautiful answer from my podcast guest Srinathji. here it is.. Love to hear other answers for this question.
That’s a very good and thoughtful question. Yes, everything is indeed God’s plan, and He is the ultimate ruler. But according to the Bhagavad Gita, God has given us this life as an opportunity — to do good and to maintain the balance of this world.
We must stand for what is right and fight against what is wrong. That is our role in God’s plan. We are instruments (nimitta mātram bhava savyasāchin). By performing our dharma, we help preserve the beauty and order of the world.
It’s like inheriting agricultural land from our father — say four acres. It’s our duty to take care of it, maybe even improve it, and then pass it on to the next generation. If we neglect it and do nothing, the land will deteriorate and we’ll lose it piece by piece.
Similarly, the world has been entrusted to us. We must play our part, protect what is right, and hand it over in a better state to the next generation.
