Cricket bit my sling

I was just feeding my sling. He just molted a week ago and the cricket was about the size of his abdomen. I put the cricket in and he went straight for it but then dropped it abruptly and ran away from it so I think it has bitten him. I immediately removed the cricket and the sling went down in his borrow. Is there anything I can do or should look for?? I’m worried the cricket may have injured him. Has anyone had this happen? Was your sling ok?? Any advice is welcome. I’ll be prekilling them from now on till he’s bigger
