Houses/businesses all white blocks, not satellite images.

Why did all of the houses/businesses change to white blocks instead of satellite images? It’s always been satellite images, and my husbands still is, but mine isn’t anymore. 🤔🤔 For the life of me I can’t find the setting? Everything is a satellite image but the homes/businesses. Anyone help? I updated the app today and it didn’t help. I would post a photo but I can’t.
