Has Fedora become less stable?
ok, to get the elephant out of the room first - I don´t mean like right after a freshly released distro upgrade, I´m asking this in general.
I´ve switched to Linux years ago and settled with Fedora after some distro-hopping for at least the last three years. But even though all my hardware is supported i became to have more and more bugs and stability issues with both Gnome and KDE
I get that as a developer it´s more fun to work on new features than to kill bugs and reverse-engineer hardware drivers, but stability once was one of the key factors for me to move to Linux.
Now I am experiencing more shell crashes and screen freezes than ever on both my Desktop PC and my Notebook while on Windows -as shitty as it is - everything runs stable.
Is it just me? Bad luck or does anyone else also find that there has been a decline in stability?
