Fun with Feeders, Part 2!

We had fun with this the other day, so I guess this is my deal now! :)

I don’t love G1 grinding all the time but I also don’t need to just wander around aimlessly—- feeders offer a mixed experience that satisfies the itch of the patient and the gunners alike.

But today, we tried something new!! To follow, you need to go get a piece of paper and……

1- imagine your paper is a baseball field. Put a dot where the Centerfielder should be, and another for the catcher @ home plate. The CF spot is “Point A”, catcher is “Point B”.

2- Point A is a hunting structure you built in the game. The stands/blinds. And Point B, the Feeder, is about 200m downrange from Point A, with an open-field view…….we have done this before.

3- now it gets fun. “Point C” goes 150-200m behind Point B, farther away from Point A. It could be up to 300-350, whatever. BUT, and here’s the kicker, Point D is a brand new dot, about 75m from Point B (which is the feeder) and you can mark it with a tripod.

4- GET OUT THAT FOXPRO!!!!!! Run up from Point C to Point A, take a shot and whatever you want at Point B, then bumrush Point D, your tripod. Drop off the FoxPro nearby and get it calling for whatever.

Using this method, you can take down something at the feeder but then also call in anything else, plus anything that comes back into the feeder while you wait at your tripod.

It’s wild and fun action —— you’ll always be busy and still it’ll vary most every time.
