Get your narc mother a gift or no?

Long story short my family is currently having to live with my narc mother. Christmas and her birthday are coming up and I am torn. It's been awful living here and since being here all she does is talk bad about me to other family members. We are counting down the days until we move out, but I also feel like it'll just be so awkward and create conflict if I don't.
