Flash for the camera, please i need help 🛑🛑🛑

How do I use the Godox iT30Pro flash with my camera to make the photos look beautiful?

I tried using it, but I really don’t know how — the pictures turn out way too bright, like an overexposed white glow, or just look bad overall. I can’t figure out how to make the photos look nice with the flash.

Also, when I try to shoot in a dark place, the camera doesn’t take the photo unless there’s some light in the room. Why does that happen? I have the flash attached, but it only works when there’s some light on.

Please help me understand how to take pretty photos with the flash! I see people taking amazing pictures at parties or in the streets with flash, and their photos look perfect.

My birthday is today and I really want to take nice photos. If there’s any “recipe” or camera setting I can use — with flash or without — for a softly lit (dim yellow light) party, please share it with me!
