WhatsApp Notifications

Hi all,

I hope this is allowed here as it's a very basic question. I'm looking to switch from Android to iOS and I've been unable to find the answer to my question online:

When you receive a picture via WhatsApp, does it display the image in the notification bar?

Bonus points if someone could provide a screenshot of how it looks for my peace of mind!

Thank you
