Houseplants with small leaves that will climb a string?

I have a couple of tall windows. I want to put some plants pots ata convenient height for watering and have the plant grow up some strings hanging from the top of the windows. Not too large that they block the whole window though. Recommendations? They will get mostly indirect light there with a little direct in the mornings, east facing but with trees shading most of it. Ty!
