Kimpton Seafire GC or Edition Riviera Maya-Feedback Welcomed

Husband and I are taking a four night delayed honeymoon in late January early February. After a long rabbit hole of looking at several locations and hotels, we’ve narrowed it to Edition Riviera Maya and Kimpton Seafire in Grand Cayman. I am not a beach person at all-prefer to go to Europe for city activity type vacations. My husband is nervous about going to Mexico, and he really wants to go somewhere in the Caribbean-he does like to beach rot. We considered Costa Rica so that I could have more activities, but ultimately ruled out-compromise was to go somewhere that was truly just a beach resort, but cut from 5 nights to 4. Would love any input on either hotel and either location. To vote, Edition would less expensive than Seafire, but we’re fine with the cost of either. Thank you!
