The UK education system is fighting a tough fight on the curriculum front on helping those with those with ND have positive outcomes. At primary I feel bashed with negativity that my son isn’t succeeding and where he is - well that down to me dumping the books they give us and giving him more challenging text to learn and wow all of a sudden he’s reading and interpreting text at a good standard and spending an hour everyday home schooling. Every time we ask for adaptions they say yeah and we find out they don’t carry them out - at this stage our son is in year 5 - and I have no confidence in what adaptions they will put in place for year 6 SATs . Any advice would be grabbed on to at this point.
