Help! Can't get keyboard to pair to laptop

I have a one-month old Asus Zen Duobook laptop (model = UX8406CA). While keyboard was detached, it lost connectivity. When I went into system -> Bluetooth and devices, there were two entries for the keyboard. One appeared to be active, one wasn't, so I deleted them both. But I cannot re-pair the keyboard because when I go to "add a device" in the bluetooth sysyem area, it does not show up on the list of discovetable items after trying the following:

• turned bluetooth off, then on
• deleted bluetooth driver from device msnaget, then restarted (to re install driver-which I checked, did re install)

Keyboard is charged (F10 key light turns blue when keyboard is detached), keyboard bluetooth switch is on.

Have no clue what to do.
