New Apevia Soul Series PSU Might Be a Sleeper Hit for Budget Builds

The Apevia Soul Series PSU lineup looks promising for budget builders. All models are fully modular and come with standard safety protections like overvoltage, overcurrent, overpower, overtemperature, and short circuit protection. The higher end models starting with the 850W version at 62.99 include ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 support which makes them compatible with the newest NVIDIA cards.

The only drawbacks are the lack of an 80 PLUS efficiency rating and the fact that it is a brand new series with no user reviews yet, so its long term reliability is still uncertain. It could prove to be completely dependable or even one of the best budget PSU lines of the year, but for now it remains a bit of a gamble.
