water damage buds 3 pro case

hey guys, so I've dropped my buds 3 pro's in a cup of coca-cola, yes stupid me. but it's been a couple of hours now and everything seems to be working fine except for the button at the bottom of the charging cradle.

I used it to check battery level but opening the lid does the same thing, but apart from that, the function is putting the buds in pairing mode. I haven't needed to do that yet bc they're already paired with all my devices but when I do, is there a way to put the buds in pairing mode without using that button?

do you think I should try getting warranty? playing dumb or being upfront abt the liquid damage?
