Our religious education teacher (orthodox) believes that palestinians were god's chosen instead of Hebrews.

It happened back in 2023. She basically told us that Palestinians were the God's chosen and the one's supposed to live in the promised land we now call Israel but they wasted so much time in the desert (40 years as we know) that Hebrews, Syrians and Egyptians I think took over the whole area leaving them with no place to live. What do you think?
