Yet Michelle Yeoh is far too valuable and prestigious for Star Trek to leave in a lurch because of Star Trek: Section 31. Yeoh and Georgiou need to be rescued from the dead-end Section 31 left them in.

Bringing back Michelle Yeoh would require waving away or curing Philippa Georgiou's fatal illness, but Star Trek: Starfleet Academy's 32nd century science can easily provide that deus ex machina, and return the Emperor to the 32nd century.

Michelle Yeoh making a comeback in Star Trek: Starfleet Academy would allow her to share scenes with her fellow Best Actress Academy Award-winner, Holly Hunter, who plays Starfleet Academy's Chancellor, Captain Nahla Ake.

Just imagine Star Trek: Starfleet Academy pitting Michelle Yeoh's Emperor Georgiou against Holly Hunter's Captain Ake. This, alone, is worth the effort of saving Michelle Yeoh from the sad fate Star Trek: Section 31 left her in."
