₹1 Cr Home, Willing to sell for 20 lakh- Trapped by Corrupt Lawyer, Urgent Help Needed

A former lawyer and a loan shark trapped him in a fake 9-lakh loan with his house (worth ₹1–1.4 crore) as collateral, charging insane interest and blocking him from selling it. His new lawyer is helping for free and expects a positive outcome soon, but time is running out — his daughter may need another brain surgery, and he needs quick cash.

He’s so desperate he’s considering selling the house for ₹20 lakh or even involving local “goons” to force a solution — which could easily make things worse.

What should he do? Could he try to talk to some politicians and offer them a deal like this or anything like that? Or are they people that buy these type of properties on cheap (as it is an easy profit for someone with money)?

Longer version (but still short of full context)

A man, let's call him (V), had some ancestorial property + a house (Manesar, Gurgaon). He sold the ancestorial property for a big amount, but in the process he got scammed by a cousin which led to health issues (several heart surgeries). His cousin (who was his agent at the time) stole all of their money, plus 2 crore from the land sale, but he ended up in jail (together with bank manager who played a role) and some of it was recovered. During the whole time his bank account was frozen: first because of the criminal case; then because his son-in-law was beating up his daughter and forcing her to sue for her share (she escaped and filled for divorce/DV case), and finally, a different cousin (good relations with son-in-law) contested the ownership of the land just to extort money (didn't show up for 2 hearings already) as they are aware of V's health (both him and his wife have big health problems and recently his daughter had a major brain surgery as well).

OK, so he is now broke, without money, with big health issues in family. To be fair, his current lawyer is sure in positive outcome of the case, is working on it just on promise of future money and even gave (loaned) 2.5 lakh, plus paid all the court-related expenses for the last several months. This literally saved lives as V had a double bypass surgery in september and his daughter had brain surgery (hematoma which had to be drilled and extracted) while not having health insurance anymore. He is sure that the account will be open before end of the month (next hearing is on 10th of November), but there isn't much time as his wife is in hospital, and 2 months after his daughter had surgery- she seems to be having some fluid leaking in her brain which might require another surgery urgently.

Here comes the part about the house- the house is worth around 1-1.4cr. He is willing to sell it, and would do it right away for even 20 lakh but here is the problem. When he had the heart attack and the first 3 surgeries needed (stent, pacemaker, heart perforation)- he had 0 in his bank account because the cousin whole stole money from him emptied it all (and he had access to it as he was like a son and did all important things in family). Therefore his wife borrowed money from family- as much as she could, but as there wasn't enough, she also borrowed 1 lakh from a loan shark.

Therefore he decided to sell the house as fast as possible. Agent found a buyer, he had to accept only 90 lakh and was about to complete the sale within a week. But his lawyer at the time (not the current one who is working for free) found out about value of the house, and got in contact with the loan shark. To cut the long story short- they basically kidnapped V, held him for 3 days and forced him to sign that the lawyer is loaning him 9 lakh (to pay off the loan sharks- so their 1 lakh turned into 9 after few months) and used house papers as collateral + a monthly interest of just... ONE LAKH PER MONTH. He was forced to sign this, and because of it the house sale failed. The lawyer said that he wont let the sale happen without him getting his money first. (V) offered to the lawyer to let the sale proceed and he will give him double the amount right away. Lawyer rejected and abused him, calling him smartass, and offered him just 3 lakh, which he obviously rejected. Now being desperate to save his daughter's life, he would maybe even accept that, but the lawyer now doesn't want to even do that as he is banking on getting the house for free.

So he is desperate. Unable to work due to health reasons and with medical bills piling on.

He would be willing to let the house go for even 20 lakh, just to get something fast so he can put as deposit in the hospital and the guesthouse where they stay at the moment.

Is there anything he could do here? The "debt" to the lawyer rose to 15ish Lakhs, and it is impossible for him to get any kind of money to pay that and proceed with the sale.

The solution he had in his mind is- maybe contact some other goons or local politicians and offer them to deal with this issue so he just extracts 20 lakh from this either way (they would get much more due to value of the home), but this can easily be a double edged sword.
