Stitches came out during first sex after hysterectomy and repairs.

Hi so a bit of tmi on this post. so I was cleared of all restrictions at 6 weeks post op and told by doctor that I could try having sex since my healing was good. We tried, first time was a definite no go. Second time after lots of foreplay and lube my husband managed to get comfortablyish inside with me on top, missionary was not comfortable (doctor did say first few times would be extremely uncomfortable, but if painful to stop asap) we took it extremely slow and lots of pausing to help me relax my pelvic floor, I would start to tense up and pain would start. After a while I was even able to orgasm with a lot of clitoral play included (I don’t typically orgasm thru penetration alone)it was a nice surprise since I was honestly so scared. Well after finishing my husband found two small knots of stitches. Now I’m a bit worried that it was too soon to have sex even though the doctor did say no visible stitches and healing looks great after doing a thorough internal exam. I don’t have any spotting just some soreness and a bit uncomfortable but no really feeling a lot of pain. Has anyone experienced this? Was it of concern to you or doctors? I will be asking if this is something I should worry about for the meantime I think I’ll wait another week to try having sex again.
