Where to donate?

Some kind and thoughtful folk have posted where to go if you have need. How about from the other side, if you can toss something in the kitty, or even volunteer a few hours to help.

Can anyone recommend someplace they’ve donated to?

I usually look them up on Charity Navigator, but it’d be nice to hear what people think.
