Why do eyekons say that gnarly is for kids?

This is something I have noticed a lot with eyekons. Whenever I see them talk about gnarly they are like "oh they are definitely trying to target kids with that song". Like are we talking about the same song? Gnarly has swearing, twerking and a moan from porn. How is it for kids? And the fact that they performed gnarly at nickelodeon kids choice awards (correct me if I'm wrong) is crazy
