A different view.
I am a woman. I have a medical condition. My body dont fit who I am, so I am taking hrt. My stage of my medical condition is that of transitioning. But the same as other woman who also take hrt, undergo plastic surgeries and more and it doesnt affect her womanhood, it doesnt mine either. My point is, we are so concerned about being trans, that we forget that we are women. Yea, be proud that you took the step but i think we must stop being so focussed on transness. Being trans is nothing more than belonging to a support group. We must stop that being trans defines our whole lives. We dont hear other woman say: Hi I am Cathy and i am a pre-menopausal woman. Or. Hi I am an American midwest woman. She would say Hi I am Cathy. Pleased to meet. So, hi I am Alexa. Pleased to meet.
