Who was in the right?

Re watching OC and I’m on S5 E8 Let bygones be bygones and I’m interested in the Lynne v Gretchen argument about Alexa. I think Alexa played up a lot in this situation and as someone who is childless I thought Lynnes comments about waiting till Gretchen has kids and that she can’t comment because she doesn’t have kids was rude and unnecessary. To comment or speculate on a childless woman’s situation is offensive regarding having children because you don’t know the context or history, what they might be going through or facing. I know I’m not wording this how I want it to come across so I apologise but as someone who can’t have kids due to medical issues, if someone said ‘wait till you have kids’ is extremely hurtful. Women who struggle with infertility shouldn’t have to advertise their issues. Sorry rant over I just felt that wasn’t necessary from Lynne. What do you all think of that storyline?
