Is it fun for a solo and a beginner

I have seen gameplay on the game and it seems fun, I didn’t have a chance to play during the free weekend but am considering buying it. I don’t really play extraction shooters mostly because I am on PS5 and the only one I tried was delta force but quit cause it was so complicated with the controls and found the game very overwhelming dying all the time. I do play a lot of pvp and shooter games. And I also don’t want to be only looting like I want action and versing players too
