Ok so for the record I am working very closely with my doctor.  This all started kinda sudden. Over last 2 months. My A1C was 5.4 which was normal but glucose lab draw was 233. Oral glucose was abnormal. Which led to glucose log revealed more high number which led to CGM. Which lead to all these fasting blood test

ACTH, Plasma
CMP14
GAD-65 Autoantibody
Insulin Antibodies
TSH+Free T4
Cortisol
ZNT8 Antibodies
IA-2 Autoantibodies
He was going to start Metformin. But I already suffer with severe GERD, nausea, vomiting. And go on and off feeding tube from time to time. My esophagus spasms. And basically long story short my food doesn’t stay down. So he was concerned about metformin side effects. Suggested these labs, cut carbs and sugars come back 3 weeks. Here’s my question. I understood all that but where I run into the issue is I didn’t eat anything today. It’s part of the gastro issues sometimes I’m just not hungry or I eat I get horrible abdominal pain nausea possible vomit it back up. I have meds to help counter it but they don’t always work. Now that being said I drink water like I fish so well hydrated. Active with 4 kiddos. I brought all this up and basically go the small meals do best you can eat slow. Which is fine I do all those things. I’ve been dealing with the gastro stuff for a while. The blood sugar is new. I guess I was just wanting ask if anyone else had the gastro/feeding tube issues(I dont have one currently hoping keep it that way)maybe had suggestions. Meals I haven’t thought about things I haven’t thought about. Liquids seem to work better than anything solid or such. Thanks for letting me get it all out. Just that feels better.
