I Started a Business, Here’s What I’ve Learned So Far

Hey founders! I’m Monica, a full-time mom who recently launched a pet aftercare business called Eternal Water Cremation.

I noticed a gap in the market for something more eco-conscious and emotionally thoughtful. So I built the first water cremation service for pets in Miami-Dade. It's been a rollercoaster of zoning, permitting, budgeting, and branding...all while juggling two kids and a full-time role.

My biggest lesson so far? Lead with mission, but back it with systems. I’d love to hear from others who’ve launched personal, heart-led businesses. How do you stay focused when the work is so emotional?
