Irish cream simple syrup recipe

Industry Discussion

I need help creating an Irish cream simple syrup for coffee drinks. I'm trying to create a flavor similar to starbucks Irish cream syrup. I think the syrup should have cocoa powder, vanilla extract, almond extract, sugar and Irish whiskey for the flavor based on what I researched. I would like to heat the whiskey to remove the alcohol but want the flavor from the whiskey. I'm thinking the cream part will come from the milk when I make it into a latte. Does anyone have any good recipes or suggestions?
