Can you use EQ with AirPod pro 3 on MacBook ?

I know you can’t on iPhone/ipad (even with that little trick to change to presets in the settings ) but I’m wondering on a MacBook since it’s more open or customizable system can you basically EQ your AirPod pro 3 sound that come from the mac (I’m not talking about the itunes /music app although I’m curious if even that changes the sound inside the AirPod pro , assuming so otherwise it would be useless ) but like more generally ? Like if I also listen to music on YouTube or Spotify ? (I guess Spotify also have its EQ but dunno if it’s any good )
