Okay my landlords granddaughter threw a party for halloween. usually it wouldn't be an issue but we are in a house share and we got lectured last time we had a get together (not a party) everyone all knew each other.

Okay to the cut there was a bunch of 16-20 year olds there (at least 25) and me and one other renter worked 10 hours yesterday and we both had to be up at 6am for work today. we had ABSOLUTELY no idea that there was a party happening at the house that we pay to live in (we pay $1000 each for our bedrooms and bathrooms)

Anyways i'm wondering what renter laws that violated in CA. They were blasting music, doing some other stuff i can't mention on here and we told them to turn it down because both our bedrooms are downstairs where the party took place so neither of us could sleep at all yesterday.
