Graduate school
Hi everyone,
This question is primarily geared toward general consensus on “is university worth it?”
For context, I have a stroke history, epilepsy, POTS, gastroparesis, chronic nerve pain, hemiplegic migraines, as well as several mental health disorders. I’ll be finishing my undergraduate degree in May 2026. I really want to go to grad school for anthropology, but working full time definitely isn’t an option (using a bio anthropology degree would include teaching, research, and field work). I’m really stuck on if it’s even worth going to grad school if I can’t work and am dependent on SSI. The best way I can think to use a degree is maybe tutoring, but that seems like a lot of effort, time, and money just for that.
