RCMP Posting & Moving

Hi all,

Thinking of applying for the RCMP and had a question about posting while at depot.

I understand they can post you anywhere but let's say you live in Nova Scotia and wind up being posted in BC are you expected to cover the cost of finding a new house? Including flying over there to view any potential properties? Does the RCMP assist at all? Also in what kind of time frame are you expected to sort out the move?

Just curious and if anyone has any other advice that would be greatly appreciated.
