Buying a 97 Peugeot 106 in America

I’m considering buying a 1997 Peugeot 106 GTI in the American Southeast. I’m all in on the buy but have one hangup. How easy is it to get parts for and/or service the car if it was never sold in America? Are they fairly cheap or expensive? Also, how reliable is this car? Any advice or insight will be greatly appreciated.
