Appeal decision timeline

My husband filed his appeal 3.5 years ago and we finally have our date to talk with the VA judge (Nov 2025). The paralegal we spoke to said to expect a year wait for the decision! I thought it was 30-60 days a year seems insane. She didn’t not tell us what the average wait has been the last couple months so I’m coming here to see if anyone has gotten their recent decisions within a few months of seeing the judge? Thanks!
