Why is this happening?

I just don’t get it. I will never understand how a city who was attacked by an extremist religion 24 years ago will soon elect a member from that same religion as mayor of their city. A religion who believes it’s ok to kill homosexuals, rape women and allows people to LIE about their intentions in order to convert non-believers. They have stated on multiple forums that they will use liberal progressive ideology to infiltrate our government in the name of Allah. I will never understand how a man who lied about his fake aunt being the real victim of 911 instead of the thousands that were murdered will win even 1 vote in the same city. I don’t understand how Mamdani was able to say on record that free buses will increase public safety bc so many assaults on bus drivers were happening bc of “people” who didn’t want to pay the fare… So give CRIMINALS what they want and problem solved? I can’t wrap my head around the stupidity of funding free buses and grocery stores with the taxes taken from billionaires yet at the same time punishing and chastising them for being billionaires. I don’t understand how anyone in our country could favor communism over capitalism. And I sincerely wish they all moved away to these communist dictator/terrorist run countries. You know, the countries in the middle of some god forsaken desert who flags they all love to fly and parade down American streets. Seriously. Why are you here????
