Wicked: For Good will be released later this month so I thought I would share my Witchy Cottage build inspired by the Land of Oz.

For the exterior, I surrounded the cottage with the Golden Brick Road, a Brilliant Rainbow and monkey companions (representing Yellow Brick Road, Somewhere Over the Rainbow and the Flying Monkeys).

Images 2-3 depict Dorothy, Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Lion traveling through the poppy field. The Bright Hanging Glass Orbs work as another Somewhere Over the Rainbow reference. I used Touch of Magic rugs and a dress. (Disclaimer: I first saw someone use Permafrost Clouds to represent Glinda using snow to break the sleeping spell on the poppies in a DDV Land of Oz build video on YouTube).

Through Flynn's Door, 4-5 depict Glinda the Good Witch in Munchkinland.

Through the Thorny Door, 6-7 depict the Wicked Witch of the West casting spells in her castle. I loved using the Villain Stained Glasses on the walls. I also used a Yule Goat to pay homage to Doctor Dillamond in Wicked.

8-10 take us through the Grand Double Doors to the Emerald City/Wizard's Throne Room. Multiple references in these images. The carriage references Dorothy's group traveling through the city pulled by "a horse of a different color" in the film. The city model is in the room because of the Wizard having an Oz model in the first Wicked film. I placed the Photo Backdrop by the Wizard to depict him as "the man behind the curtain."

I really love how this build turned out. Let me know what you think.
