Now that we know the truth about what's been going on with Kuseno thanks to the webcomic, the scene of him visiting Saitama in the manga gives off some different vibes than before. Even though it doesn't exist like that in the webcomic, ONE obviously also included stuff here that aren't just silly extra moments but foreshadow future events in the story.

Kuseno came to visit after getting a distress signal from Genos to see what happened for himself. He innocently asks what happened to the monster who defeated him this time even though he should know at this point that it was probably Saitama (Genos' mysteriously overpowered master he always talks about) who destroyed it, since that's how it's been pretty much every other time in the past when he got beaten.

Genos even confirms this by stating that "As always" it was Saitama. Kuseno was likely aware beforehand that Saitama saved Genos again and was with him right now, giving him the perfect opportunity to visit and see Saitama for himself for future preparations, since if he's a hero this powerful he will likely be a big problem for Kuseno's plans in the future so he should find out as much as he can about him. A personal visit only makes sense for that.

Before, he always sent his drones to pick up Genos as he stated himself, but this time he didn't for no particular reason it seems. Also just entering someone's home unannounced while fully armored isn't really a great way to approach someone, unless you have a very specific reason like being especially interested in them.

Then there's the fact that he brought some special premium beef with him. Aside from the obvious fact that Kuseno did that to bribe Saitama and subtly manipulate him into trusting Kuseno, it shows again how observant of him he already was before from Genos' tellings by remembering not just that he likes meat but also specific details like that he always reacts to bargain sale beef at the supermarket. He even got Saitama to invite him to come visit anytime again which would surely work in his favor.

Then we get the scene of Kuseno complimenting Genos on seeing a new side of him around his friends. While this seemed like a heartwarming moment of him praising the one that's like a son to him, it again shows that he came there with the intention to observe and did just that here.

He says he's happy for Genos, but on the inside he's probably worried about the fact that Genos is able to put his battles aside (what Kuseno drilled into him to be his sole purpose even though Genos doesn't know it) for some silly antics, which shows him that Genos is growing beyond what Kuseno wants him to do thanks to the company of these people which would be reason for worry.

And as Genos denies being friends with Fubuki, we see Kuseno thinking to himself about seeing another new side of Genos, one that denied his words for the first time, which would be even further reason for worry.

It wouldn't be surprising if Kuseno purposely put the conversation in a direction where Genos would have to disagree with him just so Kuseno can see if he could actually do that. And he did that by implying Fubuki was his friend even though he saw just before how hostile Genos was to her.

Depending on how the manga continues that storyline, this could work well as retroactive foreshadowing for why Kuseno wants to put his plan in motion as quickly as possible before Genos changes even more which is why he lets Drive Knight give him the information he needs at that point, not to mention getting samples of Saitama's body.

Given that Genos currently in the webcomic is a lot more hellbent on eliminating his target than ever before, maybe it could even turn into an explanation to where Kuseno somehow corrupted Genos' new parts so they would manipulate him even further to follow his goal before he drifts away from the original intention Kuseno had for him.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it but it seems like the details could matter a lot here.
