Benefits Enrollment after Open Enrollment

My friend starts working fulltime this Monday in the system. She was a part time pickup courier. Open enrollment is now over how does it work now for her? Does she have a set period or have to wait? Normally we're given 2 weeks but she's a new hire from a couple months ago. Thanks.
