The white wire in electrical.
We moved into a place and I never noticed that our rear exterior lights don’t work until now.
Finally had time to look at this. Luckily everything is all exterior mounted in the metal.
I see a black and white going into the breaker box and followed it. Black goes into breaker and white goes on a strip of bolts. Along with the other ones. All looking good.
I pull the light switch out/ junction box. And I noticed a broken white wire there. Looks like it was cut pretty clean as well. There are a whole lot of other wires. Many black/red and whites.
Can I just simply just connect the two wires together? I’ve done some car wiring before and have spare heat shrink butt connectors. To avoid shocking myself so I just shut the breaker off or do I need to shut everything off on the outside?
