Side swiped by dart bus

dart bus side swiped me today and DART seems very adamant on not filing a police report. To make matters worse the bus driver accused me of jumping in front of her and “cutting her off” but my son and his mother were in the car and she can a test that wasn’t the case? What should I do? I don’t want it on my record even tho I’m not at fault and they gave me the risk management number to call to fix the damage. Luckily it’s just a little scraped paint but I feel like they’re trying to get over on me. Any advice or has this happened to anyone?
