Do you stick with your starting team, or drop them for more high-end mercs once you have the cash?

It's been quite a while since I played, and RL keeps delaying me, but I AM going to get around to this game again. Soon. Ish.

For my first game I kept all my starting dudes for the duration. Yeah, they're mostly not quite as superhuman, but they do level up over time, and I like it when time and hard work pays off. I also just found Kalyna easily the funniest of the lot, with her fantasy cosplayer dialogue. Yeah, she levels up slowly, but she made a pretty good sidekick sniper for my sniper IMP.

So when it came time to hire the more expensive mercs it just meant I would have multiple teams running around.
